The Groups feature allows the creation of smaller, public or private communities on the site. You must be a paid member to create or join a group.
Any paid member can create and become a group moderator. Any member that signs up to your group can share ideas, information or create events for members only.
To create a new Group follow the steps below:
Select the Create A Group side menu. Fill in all the required fields, add a brief description for your group.
Select one of the categories that matches you group's description, ie. Music lovers, Paddlers and Campers,
Networking etc.
If none of these descriptions fits, choose General. Choose whether you want the group to be Private or Public.
You can stop here or add advanced options by clicking on Show Advance Options.
Each group will need a moderator and will be subject to approval before being published online. The moderator will be able to:
Edit the groups preferences, upload a profile image for the group, send emails directly to members, create bulletins
for members and start discussion groups.
