Women About Gets a Makeover!
You've arrived at the brand-new home of Women About! We're changing with the times! And we are very excited about it! By offering our members a choice of an electronic calendar, we are now more flexible and able to accommodate the needs of our members in the 21st century! Bringing our community on-line means that it will be easier and faster to connect to all members of Women About. It means we're going green! Growing our community on the web means less paper and less postal calendars. We're making a big splash with a smaller carbon footprint! So, come on in and make yourself at home. Take a look around. And see how much we've changed! Whether you're new to the New York area or a long-time member, we're glad you're here! Keep reading to see how we've changed

Share what you love with other members! It is that time again! Submit your planned events for the mailed calendar by February 23rd for admission into the next Spring calendar. Events will be published in the Spring Calendar mid-March through June. To find out how to submit your event, see "Getting Started."
We're not just another online calendar site. No. Here there's a place that allows you to share your thoughts and ideas with other members. To start, click on the Chit Chat link and start talkin'! Let us know what you do, what you love (or hate), who you are and what type of events you participate in. Start a new thread or add to an existing one. Either way we can't wait to hear from you! Latest added thread:: Rosie O'Donnell is back! I read on shewired that the Big Rose is going back to stand-up comedy. "O'Donnell's Dinah show will officially mark her long-awaited, and overdue, return to stand-up! She will perform Friday, April 2 at the Palm Springs Convention Center". Oh for god sake. It's not like she needs the money!

Weather permitting, we'll stroll outside and see witch-hazels narcissus, snowdrops, aconites, hellebores blossom, yellow forsythias and more all announcing the arrival of spring!
Afterwards, hang out for lunch at the garden or a local restaurant!
