We're now offering our membership base a choice of an electronic calendar that they can add their events to "on the fly". We're more flexible and able to accommodate the needs of our members in the 21st century! Bringing our community on-line means that it will be easier and faster to connect to everyone.

Jersey's in the House!

Women About has long been associated with the lesbian communities of New York City and surrounding Boroughs. The organization started in New York in 1976 (you can read more of the organization's history in "About Us").
In the past 3 months enrollment from across the river has increased. There are now approximately 15 new members from all over the New Jersey area.

Deadline to RSVP for Kayaking & Canoeing Long Island Sound is September 4th.
Our event is September 11th at Longshore Sailing School in Wesport CT. So do call soon! Free transportation will be provided to and from the school. All paddlers, any level welcome.  Bring your own boat or rent by the hour.
