Memorial Day Weekend
in the New Jersey Pine Barrens

Come for the day or stay overnight at a local motel or camp for the weekend at Atsion Lake Family Campground.
Join Women About for the annual paddling (canoe or kayak) some of the most delightful and enchanting little rivers in Wharton State Forest.

A short drive from Manhattan, we’ll eat at a local restaurant on Saturday night and have a potluck barbeque at the campground on Sunday night.
All campers and day trippers are welcome.

Tuesdays with Barbara

Fourth Tuesday Dinner for 50+ will meet at LE ZIE restaurant in Chelsea, 172 7th avenue at 20th street. Cocktails from 6 to around 7 and then dinner. Dinner is al la carte.

Cindy Sherman at MOMA

Cindy Sherman (American, b. 1954) is widely recognized as one of the most important and influential artists in contemporary art. Working as her own model for more than 30 years, Sherman has captured herself in a range of guises and personas which are at turns amusing and disturbing, distasteful and affecting. This retrospective of her work will include 170 photographs which trace her career from the mid-1970s to the present. It also includes some of her more recent photographic murals.

Join Miriam for the exhibit at 6 p.m. Afterwards we'll have dinner at a nearby restaurant. Admission to MOMA is FREE on Friday nights from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Cemetery Walk!

Walk Greenwood Cemetery and experience one of Brooklyn’s most beautiful and sublime spots. We’ll tour monuments and graves with stories to tell while enjoy flowering trees and migrating birds. Don't miss it!
