Women About goes to the Movies.

Join us for a great movie in Manhattan; either comedy, drama or a terrific documentary. We willl meet for an inexpensive dinner, then, onto a fabulous movie show close by.

Join WMA for a Veggie dinner.

Come and enjoy healthy food and the fine company of lesbians! We will meet for a vegetarian restaurant in the Village.
Non-vegetarians are welcome to join us too.

Martin Luther King Weekend in the Adirondacks
  

Women About returns to the Glen Lodge located just outside of Warrensburg, NY. With exclusive use of the entire Lodge with its 8 bedrooms, sauna, commercial kitchen and dining room, great room and stone fire place, we will be able to accommodate from 16 to 18 women.
Garnet Hill Cross Country Ski Center and Gore Mountain are both a short distance away. Other activities include hiking, snowshoeing, antiquing in nearby Adirondack towns. Last but not least, communally-prepared meals and intimate gatherings around a roaring fireside. Reserve early.

Annual camping trip in the beautiful Adirondacks along with a variety of canoeing, kayaking and hiking oppor-tunities.

Mailing Circles
Enjoy the company of other Women Abouters while helping to collate and mail out the quarterly calendar mailing. Volunteers are always welcome. Afterward we go for dinner at a nearby restaurant.
Skiing
Skiing day trips and weekend trips. Cross country skiing in Vermont and other nearby venues.
 

 
Dancing

Join Women Abouters attending Lesbian dances around the city.
From the SAGE Tea Dances, Square Dancing with the Times Squares to New Yorks Lesbian and Gay Contra dancing at the Gay and Lesbian Center. Get those feet moving!

Theater and Concerts
Join us when we attend Broadway
and off-Broadway performances.
We purchase tickets at a greatly discounted price through our TDF membership and pass that saving on to our members.
We also actively support our local lesbian playwrights, actresses, and performers around the city. After or before shows we go out dinner at a near by restaurant!
Restaurant and Movie Outings
Don't like eating out alone? Almost every calendar includes events for stepping out with other Women Abouters for Dinner or Brunch in one of the NY Boros. Don't worry these dinners are geared towards the vegetarian and non-vegetarin palate.
Annual Picnic in Prospect Park

Add to your calendar our Annual Barbeque. A day of food, women, sun and fun at Prospect Park.
